  • Directors of the company are a part of “Rotary Club” and have worked with the club for polio eradication at many levels.
  • Management is also part of the committee taking care of Aacharya Bhikshu Public School in Jaipur.
  • The employees and management of MANU regularly take part in blood donation camps.
  • Team MANU is actively involved in the promotion of E-waste re-cycle drive.
  • Company also takes care of its surrounding by doing regular plantation and creating awareness through posters for water and energy conservation.
  • Awareness programs spreading drives on female foeticide are regularly conducted.
  • Awareness programs on child sexual abuse.
  • Annually, drawing competition is carried out on the occasion of world environment day in which employees and their children participate.

EHS Activities

Safety and environment are now an integral part of any company’s business operations. This is true of MANU as well. Safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace and workforce is vital to us, and to achieve this, we operate all aspects of our business in compliance with our stated policies and procedures. We also comply with all relevant legislation as an absolute minimum, aiming to exceed these standards wherever we can. Some of the activities done under EHS in MANU are:

  • Regular training and drills for safety are conducted in the company.
  • Posters to create awareness on safety and environment conservation are displayed within and outside the company.
  • Complete health check-up of all employees is done annually.
  • Regular CO2 emission monitoring is done.
  • In-house accident records are closely monitored and corrective action are taken.
  • All employees are motivated and recognized on effective and regular use of PPE in their workplace.
  • Family planning is also promoted by the company. Cash reward is given to employees enrolling into family planning.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan (Clean India Drive)

The campaign was officially launched on 2nd October, 2014 in New Delhi, where Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi himself cleaned the road. It is India’s biggest ever cleanliness drive and 3 million government employees and school/college students of India participated in this event.

MANU with CII-Yi is running HNOP (HORN NOT OK PLEASE) awareness campaign in the city of Jaipur under this mission. Apart from this, we are committed towards eradicating manual scavenging, helping Municipal Corporation with solid waste management, changing people’s attitude towards sanitation and creating awareness about cleanliness.
